Project Brief

The Adaptation Fund NGO network provides international support structure to vulnerable countries in “direct access”, takes part in adaptation fund processes and funded projects. In the current project, CANSA supports regional and national activities of the network in South Asia and India by enabling and promoting multi-stakeholder processes. CANSA will facilitate constructive exchanges among civil society and decision makers to improve adaptation finance policies at national and regional level. The project involves organising activities to improve strategy development, networking and dialogue, participative approaches of capacity building, developing to facilitate planning, implementation and evaluation of projects financed through the AF in the region.

Objectives

  • To improve implementation of national and regional adaptation fund projects as well as policies
  • To facilitate interaction among civil society organisations, national governments and adaptation fund
